Beginning Fiddle will cover the basics of how to play. If you are in need of an instrument to try it out just let us know and we will bring some along!
Bluegrass Fiddle will cover some basic concepts of backing up vocals, Bluegrass intros and outros, how to play a break, and perhaps a tune or two.
Celtic Fiddle will focus on the ornamentation and bowings that make Irish and Scottish music so much fun to play!
Rhythm Techniques is all about the groove. It will cover basic rhythm patters, chords and how to play behind songs and tunes you don't know. Bring your guitar, bass, mandolin, fiddle, or banjo and get in the groove!

The Montana State Old-Time Fiddlers Tune Books are here. This book has thirty jam standards and is a fund raiser for the Fiddler's education fund. Books are $10 plus s/h or you can join as a member and get one free! Buy one for yourself and all your fiddling friends and help us promote and teach fiddling in Montana.
